IM6-2:  Exploring Culturally Appropriate Missional Approaches

Applying Biblical Contextualization

This workshop is an exploration of real world examples of contextual cross-cultural ministry to international people groups. Presenter will discuss some of the needs, bridges, and flexibility of cross cultural evangelism from these examples. Discussions will include adaptions of space, relatively minor adaptions such as food, or activites that the congregation may make to reach a people group.  Discussion of contextualizations of participants is encouraged.

1.  Learn to identify cultural bridges to minister to people groups.

2.  Review some actual successful ministry examples of application and adaptions.

3.  Observe how studying origins and identifying need, bridges, and flexibility of people groups as an asset to cross-cultural connection.

4.  Discover issues, strategies, bridges, gifts, and needs of your missional team for ministry in your community.
