MA2-3:  We Take Worship to the Community

Revealing Redemption thru the Arts

A fresh look at Biblical principles of lay evangelism  including a discussion of Jesus’ models of missional identification.   The presenter will discuss  Paul’s artistic communication of the gospel to specific audiences and how he contextualized his message to 4 groups of people.   Applications will be made to current needs in evangelism encouraging missional artisans to become incarnational within their own social relationships.   The workshop will include a discussion of four fields of music practice and four types of music practitioners.  The workshop will  conclude with how missional artisans serve as creative prophets, witnesses, and worshippers by discussing some specific works of creative art.

1.  You will how the incarnation of Jesus affects the witness of belivers.

2.  Understand the what missional identification involves and how the Apostle Paul practiced missional identification.

3.  Discuss how missional artisans can reveal redemption thru the Arts.
