MA2-2: We Embrace Creative Cultures
Affirming Cultural Designers
This workshop will take a historical look at the shifts in beliefs, values, and social classes in American society since the 1870’s to present day and is foundational to understanding the need for culturally targeted missions and ministries in our society. Our new cultural creative class will be discussed with special emphasis on the super creative Bohemian lifestyle and mindset. The need to embrace the creative individuals in our communities and some of the specialized missional skills to reach them will be discussed.
Workshop Objectives
1. Discuss previous classes, the changing beliefs and values in American society and the emerging group mindset.
2. Understand the core of the creative cultures in current society their range and what they participate in.
3. The historical lifestyle and values of the creative cultures.
4. Evaluate the missional skills, messages, and ministries that are needed to build cultural bridges to the cultural creative people group.
