Evaluating Historical Missional Strategies
Background for this workshop will begin with a look at the principle mission strategies in Antioch of reaching across of cultural barriers, training local leaders, and sending commissions. The presenter will discuss the missional environment from the first century understanding of the clergy and laity and involvement in early church evangelism as well as the sociological context of the first century and the changing environment in the post-apostolic era. Earlier missional institutions, churches, schools, societies, and organizations will be discussed. Participants will be encouraged to make evaluations and ministry assessments to their missional team.
