Patterns of Relationships in the OT & NT

This workshop will be an encouragement to all and especially  the pastorally gifted to focus on building relationships with other believers in the church for the purpose of edification.  A portion of the workshop will be looking at the pattern of Jesus' friendship as it relates to building spiritual friends.  The workshop will conclude with and indepth look at the friendship of Jonathan and David from which participants will glean specific attitudes and actions for developing Biblical relationships. 

 

Workshop Objectives

What you will learn in this workshop

1.  That throughout the Scriptures great men of God had learned to develop significant, deep friendships with others.

2.  That friendships can be a basis for enabling a ministry of edification.

3.  Gain understanding of Christ's pattern of friendship.

4.  Learn about five distinct attitudes and actions in friendship building from the life of Jonathan.
