Fresh Expressions for Tentmaking and Networking
This workshop begins with a thorough look at the day to day life of Paul and how he used his social setting and his trade as a divine commission and his conversations with others for informal evangelization. The the topic will springboard forward to discuss the process of venue development. Topics will include crossing cultural bridges, overcoming cultural barriers, and issues of receptivity vs. resistance in spreading the gospel. The workshop will conclude with Biblical examples and characteristics of the person of peace.

What you will learn in this workshop
1. Discover applicable characteristics of Paul's tentmaking, social setting, communication, and understanding of his role as a divine commission.
2. Develop relational bridges to non-believers by crossing cultural bridges and overcoming cultural barriers in order to present Christ.
3. Become familiar with the resistance and receptivity issues in missions.
4. Learn where to look for the person or persons of peace in a community or within a social group.
