SMC1a-3:  Theologies of Hospitality, Compassion, Proclamation

Theology for Missional Living

An overview of responsibility of the people of God toward others that include the practice of hospitality, compassion, and proclamation.  Discussions will include the relationship of the Israelites to the immigrants in their midst, poverty, justice and the mission of God.  The theology of missional proclamation will include key Old and New Testament passages relating to witness and conversion.

1.  That the Israelites were unique in more ways other than ethnically.

2.  That living in a culturally diverse society requires a sacrificial response.

3.  Missionary principles of missional conversion through missional proclamation.
