MC1: Seminar Description

Missional Foundations#1 is a look at the theological and sociological implications for missions. The series includes a theology for Biblical missions in culture, and society, the mission of God, and the Christian's commission.  A theology for missional living and an overview of the responsibility of the people of God will be discussed.  Sociological patterns and views of self, immigration trends and ethnogroup identity, social and neotribal group identity will be discussed with application for ministry.  Cultural creatives and missional skills and bridges to the cultural creatives will be explored. An indepth look at social networks and characteristics of people movements will encourage participants to make investments in facilitating individuals in social groups to make eternal decisions to accept Christ.
