ML2-5:  Managing Your Ministry Philosophy

Developing Structure to Connect Missional Development

In this last session we will address organizational structure and ways in which it relates to managing ministry philosophy and missional practice.  We will discuss five models of missional effectiveness – their structures and their limitations; followed by a discussion of a multiple competency approach.  We will briefly survey ten characteristics of ministry organizational culture that will shape missional practice management.  A discussion of four types of ministry organizations forms the background for a discussion of a missional matrix.

 

Workshop Objectives

1.   You will discuss some different ways ministry effectiveness is influenced.        

2.   You will about five models of ministry effectiveness as well as a multiple competency approach.    

3.   You will learn about qualities and dimensions of growth in a growing congregation.   

4.   Presenter will discuss church ministry organizations, management, and a missional matrix.
