An overview of the changing community needs facing the 21st century church in regards to intercultural ministry. Challenged with the need to develop culturally appropriate strategies for diverse social communities with varying worldviews and values, participants will be introduced to the ethnographic process as a means to engage individuals from diverse cultural communities with Biblical truth. Immigrant ethnic identity, key issues in developing contextual gospel presentations, and issues regarding assimilation in local church plants will discussed.
